Daegu COVID-19 Cases Increase by 377 to 3,081... Gyeongbuk Rises by 68 to 624
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Ju Cheol-in] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) continues to increase in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions.
According to Daegu City and Gyeongbuk Province as of 0:00 AM on the 2nd, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Daegu increased by 377 compared to 4:00 PM the previous day. Gyeongbuk saw an increase of 68 cases.
Accordingly, the cumulative confirmed cases are 3,081 in Daegu and 624 in Gyeongbuk.
Daegu City explained that currently 46.1% of all members of the Shincheonji Church of Jesus in Daegu have undergone diagnostic testing, and among the members whose test results have been notified, 68.1% were confirmed positive.
