According to Daegu City on the 1st, an 80-year-old man passed away at 2:25 PM at Chilgok Kyungpook National University Hospital, followed by an 86-year-old woman who died at 4:18 PM while receiving treatment at Daegu Catholic Hospital.
The 19th COVID-19 fatality, the man, was confirmed positive on the 28th of last month and was admitted to Chilgok Kyungpook National University Hospital on the same day. He was known to have hypertension as an underlying condition.
