According to Chungnam Province and Cheonan City as of 12 PM on the 1st, 12 patients tested positive for COVID-19. Among them was a 2-year-old boy. This child is the youngest confirmed case in the region and is currently reported to be showing pneumonia symptoms of unknown cause.
The list of additional confirmed cases also includes one 8-year-old boy and two 13-year-old boys. The confirmed patients consist of seven males and five females.
