View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Changwon City (Mayor Heo Seong-mu) announced on the 1st that it visited the COVID-19 screening clinic to encourage the staff and conduct an on-site inspection.
The city has installed and is operating a 'Drive-Through type screening clinic' at the east gate of Changwon Sports Park starting from the 1st.
In the drive-through method, when a person coming by car arrives at the screening clinic, all processes including registration, questionnaire completion, temperature measurement, doctor's consultation, and specimen collection are conducted while the person remains in the vehicle without getting out.
The drive-through type reduces the waiting time from 30 to 60 minutes to about 10 minutes, allowing many tests to be conducted in a short time. The operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Until the 29th of last month, 3,331 people visited and were tested, among whom 16 confirmed cases were identified.

Mayor Heo Seong-mu of Changwon encouraged the medical staff at the screening clinic who are tirelessly responding to COVID-19 and asked them to pay special attention to their health management, saying, “Please prioritize the safety and health of citizens and do your best to end COVID-19 quickly.”
