Post Office "Mask Sales Time Moved Up to 11 AM Starting from the 2nd"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] The Korea Post under the Ministry of Science and ICT (Head Park Jong-seok) announced on the 1st that starting from the 2nd, the mask sales time at post offices will be moved forward from 2 PM to 11 AM. Additionally, the daily sales quantity at post offices will be announced in advance.
However, depending on the region, Jeju area will sell masks until 5 PM, island areas will sell according to arrival schedules, and part-time post offices operating in the afternoon will sell until 2 PM.
The sales price is 1,000 KRW per mask, and 5,000 KRW per set (5 masks). However, the sales price may vary daily depending on the supply price.
The Korea Post stated, "We ask for the understanding of citizens who could not purchase masks at post offices due to the shortage of supply of health masks, and we will do our best to secure the supply." Once the supply of health masks stabilizes, online sales through Korea Post Shopping will also be conducted simultaneously.
