On the 28th, Im Byung-taek, mayor of Siheung City, announced the additional confirmed case on his Facebook, stating, "The patient is a 73-year-old woman residing in Maehwa-dong, who was Siheung City's first confirmed case (the 25th case nationwide) on the 9th," and added, "After discharge, symptoms reappeared, and she tested positive again this afternoon."
He explained, "She was transferred to Bundang Seoul National University Hospital on the 9th for treatment, showed no additional symptoms, and tested negative twice, leading to her discharge on the 22nd. However, on the 27th, she voluntarily reported mild symptoms to the public health center, and was notified as a confirmed case around 5 p.m. today."
