Gwangju Police Strengthen Patrol Activities at Facilities Ordered Closed Related to Shincheonji

On the 28th, the Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency announced that it will strengthen patrol activities at locations ordered to close due to their connection with Shincheonji.
This measure comes as COVID-19 continues to spread nationwide, with Gwangju Metropolitan City initiating a full investigation of Shincheonji followers and issuing administrative orders for the forced closure of Shincheonji facilities.
The targeted locations include 10 in Dongbu, 6 in Seobu, 19 in Nambu, 53 in Bukbu, and 13 in Gwangsan, totaling 101 sites.
For the closed Shincheonji facilities, patrol routes will be designated by local police stations and substations, and active patrols will be conducted.
