[Photo] Yuseonghun, Geumcheon-gu Mayor, Takes Action for COVID-19 Spread Prevention and Disinfection
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 25th, as a COVID-19 confirmed case occurred in Geumcheon-gu, Yuseonghun, the head of Geumcheon-gu Office, began disinfecting subway stations with heavy foot traffic within Geumcheon-gu.
On the 28th, starting from 8 a.m., Head Yuseonghun disinfected various areas of Geumcheon-gu Office Station, the most frequently used station by Geumcheon-gu residents, together with disinfection personnel.
Previously, on the 27th, Head Yuseonghun also conducted disinfection activities at Doksan Station, which is crowded with office workers during commuting hours.
Head Yuseonghun stated, “Although all staff, related organizations, and residents are doing their best to prevent the spread of COVID-19, unfortunately, we could not prevent confirmed cases in Geumcheon-gu,” adding, “To prevent any further confirmed cases, the district office, related organizations, and residents will unite their efforts to overcome the COVID-19 crisis.”
Residents are also actively participating in efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
