On the 28th at midnight, BTS unveiled the second official music video for "ON," the title track of their 4th full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL : 7," through Big Hit's official SNS channels.
This music video symbolically expresses BTS's determination to accept the given path as fate and to keep moving forward despite any obstacles in their way.
The video begins with Jin slowly approaching a bird that has been struck by an arrow. The exotic yet grand backgrounds such as vast fields and a forest lake, combined with the members' acting, create a cinematic visual experience.
The second music video for "ON" immediately topped the worldwide Twitter real-time trends upon its release on the 28th.
Previously, BTS showcased a large-scale performance featuring dozens of dancers in the first music video for "ON" along with the new album. "ON" proved its enduring popularity by ranking first on major domestic music streaming sites right after its release and topping the iTunes "Top Song" charts in 83 countries and regions worldwide.
Meanwhile, on the 27th, BTS won four awards at the Gold Disc Awards presented by the Japan Record Association, including "Best Asian Artist" in the Asia category, "Best 5 Single," "Song of the Year by Download," and "Best Music Video."
