[News] Seong Jang-hyun, Yongsan District Mayor, Pays Tribute at Yu Gwan-sun Martyr Memorial
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seong Jang-hyun, mayor of Yongsan-gu, visited the Itaewon Bugundang History Park (Noksapyeong-daero 40da-gil 33) on the 27th to pay respects at the memorial monument of activist Yu Gwan-sun.
This was in place of the March 1st Movement anniversary ceremony.
The district decided not to hold a separate March 1st event this year to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Instead, until March 1st, street flags will be raised along major roads in the area, and related organizations will continue the campaign to display the Taegeukgi flag.
