This is the highest number of additional cases recorded overnight since the counting began.
As of 9 a.m. today, the Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that 334 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed compared to 4 p.m. the previous day. Daegu and Gyeongbuk saw a sharp increase of 311 confirmed cases overnight, accounting for about 93% of the total new cases.
