KT Launches Customer-Selectable Service 'Season Choice'
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] KT has launched ‘Season Choice,’ a service that allows customers to select and use two additional services each month according to their preferences.
According to KT on the 27th, customers who subscribe to ‘Season Choice’ can freely choose two out of three services each month: KT’s mobile media service Seezn’s representative monthly subscription product ‘Season Mix,’ the personal VR service SuperVR’s ‘Super VR Pass,’ and Genie Music’s unlimited music streaming service. Any customer using KT’s 5G or LTE services can subscribe. The service is available for 11,000 KRW per month (including VAT). Customers using any of the three ‘Super Plan Plus’ tariff plans receive the ‘Season Choice’ benefits for free.
When selecting ‘Season Mix’ in ‘Season Choice,’ customers receive Coco, which allows them to purchase paid content worth about 22,000 KRW, including over 200 live broadcast channels, approximately 80,000 free VODs, a total of about 240,000 diverse VOD contents, terrestrial broadcast replay packages, and the latest movies.
If customers want to use VR content, they can choose the ‘Super VR Pass.’ This option allows them to purchase the SuperVR device at a 20% discounted price and enjoy immersive content such as over 2,000 VR video contents, more than 30 games, and various partnership services. By selecting Genie’s ‘Smart Music Listening’ as an additional benefit, customers can use the Genie app to stream unlimited songs from the latest K-pop to various genres.
