The Doosan Yeongang Foundation announced on the 27th that it is supporting 2 billion KRW in scholarships for elementary, middle, high school, and university students this year, and that it had already awarded 1.023 billion KRW to 158 university students the day before.
However, due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), no separate events were held.
The Doosan Yeongang Foundation was established in 1978 to honor the late Park Doo-byeong, the founding chairman of Doosan Group, who emphasized the importance of education. The foundation selects and supports scholarship students who demonstrate exemplary school life despite difficult circumstances.
