Eleven locations with high foot traffic from citizens and tourists, including major spots within the Four Great Gates such as Myeongdong, Namdaemun Market, and Seoul Station, have been selected. The plan is to disinfect all rainwater inlets and manholes in each area at least 10 times by the end of March. The disinfection will be carried out using space spraying and mist disinfection sterilization methods, depending on the facility conditions in each area.
The eco-friendly disinfectants to be used for the special disinfection include chlorine dioxide water and mildly acidic hypochlorous acid water.
