KB Kookmin Bank Temporarily Closes Daegu Beommul-dong Branch

Emergency Disinfection Conducted, Operations to Resume on 28th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo Gang-wook] KB Kookmin Bank announced that it will temporarily close its Daegu Beommul-dong branch until the 27th.
On the 26th, an employee from another company working in the KB Kookmin Bank Beommul-dong branch building was confirmed to be infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). As a result, the entire building underwent emergency disinfection, and access to the building was restricted until the 27th.
KB Kookmin Bank plans to temporarily close the Beommul-dong branch until the 27th and resume operations on the 28th. Additionally, the Beomeo-dong branch will operate as a substitute branch to minimize customer inconvenience, and customers were informed about the temporary closure via text messages and other means.
The Daegu 3 Industrial Complex Comprehensive Financial Center, Daegu PB Center, and KB Insurance Daegu (branch), which had previously suspended operations temporarily, resumed normal operations from the 26th. The Daegu Dasa branch is also scheduled to resume operations from 10 a.m. on the 27th.
Since the 25th, KB Kookmin Bank has been waiving fees for automated teller machines, internet banking, and Star Banking services for customers in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions to provide financial convenience and minimize customer damage caused by COVID-19.
