[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the afternoon of the 26th, Chaehyunil, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District Office, attended the ‘Comprehensive COVID-19 Response Strategy Meeting’ and discussed countermeasures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 with senior officials.
Mayor Chae expressed regret over the domestic COVID-19 cases surpassing 1,000 and urged all departments to establish a collaborative system to minimize community infection spread and to devote full efforts to these measures.

The district office has been holding daily strategy meetings chaired by the mayor to respond in real time to the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation, building a seamless quarantine network through close cooperation with related organizations such as the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency and Seoul Metropolitan Government.
