POSCO Energy Encourages Remote Work for Pregnant Employees and Family Care Leave System
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] POSCO Energy has mandated that pregnant employees work from home starting from the 26th, following the escalation of the COVID-19 crisis alert to the severe level. These employees will work from home until further notice from the company.
Additionally, the company has informed employees facing childcare difficulties due to kindergarten and daycare closures and the postponement of elementary school openings about the 'Family Care Leave System' and encouraged its active use. The Family Care Leave System allows employees to take leave supported by the company when care is needed for grandparents, parents, spouses, children, or the parents of spouses.
