Hana Financial Investment Launches 'Hana Members Overseas Stock Investment Service'
'Hanamoney' Enables Direct Overseas Stock Trading on 'Hanamembers'
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Hana Financial Investment announced on the 26th that it has started a service allowing customers to trade overseas stocks using membership points called ‘Hana Money’ on Hana Financial Group’s comprehensive financial platform ‘Hana Members’.
Customers trading overseas stocks with Hana Money on Hana Members do not need to separately install Hana Financial Investment’s Mobile Trading System (MTS) application. Additionally, the service enhances convenience by enabling overseas stock trading with Hana Money without the need for currency exchange procedures.
To commemorate the launch of the new service, Hana Financial Investment is also holding an event offering various prizes until the 31st of next month. Customers who trade overseas stocks with Hana Money on Hana Members during the event period will receive prizes based on their transaction amounts, including one travel voucher worth approximately 1.5 million KRW, five AirPods Pro, and 100 Starbucks dessert set coupons. The first 1,000 customers who open new Hana Financial Investment accounts will receive an additional 5,000 Hana Money as overseas stock investment support funds.
Choi Il-yong, Head of Digital Division at Hana Financial Investment, stated, “With rapid changes in values and remarkable technological advancements erasing boundaries between industries, a wave of digital innovation and transformation reflecting customer needs is sweeping through financial transactions. Hana Financial Investment has upgraded its digital services to allow customers to invest using points they hold from financial companies.”
