Eugene Investment & Securities Launches 'Eugene Signature Product Wrap Account'
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Eugene Investment & Securities announced on the 26th that it has launched a wrap account product that invests in public offering funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recommended quarterly.
The ‘Eugene Representative Product Wrap Account’ is a product managed by investing equally in about 10 recommended funds selected quarterly by Eugene Investment & Securities’ Financial Products Office.
Based on Eugene Investment & Securities’ product recommendation capabilities, it aims for both low volatility and stable returns through portfolio composition according to a global asset allocation strategy, product selection tailored to market conditions, and quarterly rebalancing.
The Financial Products Office at Eugene Investment & Securities selects promising asset classes based on market situation analysis by asset and region and scenario-based investment strategies. It also regularly holds a ‘Product Strategy Forum’ to actively reflect on-site opinions from research center analysts, asset management companies, and investment advisory firms.
According to the fund rating company FnGuide, the annual return of Eugene Investment & Securities’ recommended funds last year was about 13.5%. In the first quarter of this year, Eugene Investment & Securities recommended a total of 10 funds, including Hanwha Korea Opportunity Securities Investment Trust, Fidelity Europe Securities Investment Trust, Mirae Asset BRICs Industry Representative Securities Investment Trust, and Eugene Champion Short-Term Bond Securities Investment Trust.
Kim Kyuhwan, head of the Financial Products Office at Eugene Investment & Securities, said, “This product reduces customers’ concerns about selecting investment assets and rebalancing while also expecting low volatility and stable returns.”
The minimum subscription amount for the product is 5 million KRW, and the contract period is 2 years. During the contract period, additional deposits, early termination, and contract extension upon maturity are possible. Early termination may incur redemption fees for each included asset (fund).
