Hanwha Donates 150,000 Masks to Daegu and Gyeongbuk
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] Hanwha is stepping up to support the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, which are struggling due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Hanwha Corporation and Hanwha Solutions, key affiliates of Hanwha Group, announced on the 26th that they will donate 150,000 masks to the Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas, designated as special COVID-19 management zones.
To help overcome the COVID-19 crisis faced by the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, Hanwha will supply masks to these areas through the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association.
The 150,000 masks donated by Hanwha will be distributed to medical personnel, children and elderly with weakened immune systems, and low-income households.

A Hanwha Group official stated, "We want to be of even a little help to the citizens of Daegu and residents of Gyeongbuk who are suffering directly and indirectly from COVID-19. Although there will be great difficulties, we hope they do not lose hope and overcome this crisis well."
