[Asia Economy Reporter Osangdo] A Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS) employee working in the annex building of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety in Sejong City showed suspected symptoms of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and underwent an infection diagnostic test. The annex building where this employee works is known to be the KT&G building near Government Sejong Complex 1.
According to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the 25th, the employee felt suspected symptoms in the morning and did not go to work, instead receiving a COVID-19 test at the local health center.
The employee is reported to have visited the Daegu area on the 15th for a family gathering. The symptoms were mild, such as a sore throat, and the test results are expected on the 26th.
