KB Kookmin Bank Temporarily Closes Daegu Dasa Branch and Daegu Hwanggeum Intersection Branch
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo Gang-wook] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 25th that one visitor at the Daegu Dasa Branch located in the Daegu area and one employee at the Hwanggeum Intersection Branch were confirmed positive for COVID-19, leading to the immediate closure of the respective branches. Customers who had transactions at these branches were notified of the temporary closure via text messages and other means.
All employees at the branches with potential infection risks have been placed under a 14-day self-quarantine. The Daegu Seongseo Comprehensive Financial Center and Beomeo-dong Branch will operate as substitute branches to minimize customer inconvenience. After emergency disinfection and dispatching staff, the Dasa Branch is scheduled to resume operations on the 27th, and the Hwanggeum Intersection Branch on the 28th.
To provide financial convenience and minimize customer damage caused by COVID-19, KB Kookmin Bank will waive fees for automated teller machines, internet banking, and Star Banking services for customers in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions starting today.
