Changwon City Appoints First Female Deputy Mayor in History

The city announced on the 24th that, following legal procedures related to the recruitment exam for the second vice mayor position designated as an open position, Jeong Hye-ran (65 years old) was selected as the candidate for appointment.
Jeong Hye-ran, the candidate for the second vice mayor appointment, graduated from Masan Girls' High School and Ewha Womans University with a degree in law. She has been actively involved in local community organizations such as serving as the head of the Masan-Changwon-Jin branch of the National Parents' Association for True Education and as the chairperson of the Changwon City Peace and Human Rights Center of Masan YMCA.
