Jido-eup recently reported that COVID-19 infections have been transmitted within church worship halls, with higher transmissibility compared to other cases, and it is expected that such cases will continue to occur. Therefore, officials in charge have been assigned to each religious facility to focus on preventing community spread in multi-use gathering places.
On the 21st, Eupjang Hwang Seong-ju visited local religious facilities to deliver hand sanitizers and masks, urging, "Please thoroughly disinfect at least twice a week and do your best to comply with the COVID-19 prevention guidelines."
