Yongsan New Construction Site Tower Crane Collapse... 60s Worker Seriously Injured
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] At around 12:13 PM on the 24th, a 2.9-ton tower crane toppled at the KT data center construction site in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
As a result of the accident, a pile of rebar attached to the tower crane fell down and struck a Chinese national worker, Choi Mo (63), who was working 10 meters underground. Choi was transported to a nearby hospital but is reported to be in critical condition.
