Shinhan Bank Launches 'Quick Claims Service for Indemnity Insurance' on Mobile Banking
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] Shinhan Bank has launched the 'Quick Claims Service for Actual Expense Insurance' on its mobile banking app 'SOL' on the 24th, in partnership with G&Net.
The Quick Claims Service for Actual Expense Insurance is available on SOL for actual expense insurance policyholders of eight insurance companies (Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance, KB Insurance, Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance, DB Insurance, Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance, Hanwha General Insurance, Lotte Insurance) at over 26 hospitals nationwide, including Chung-Ang University Hospital and Gangdong Sacred Heart Hospital.
Shinhan Bank plans to expand the service by adding major insurance companies and hospitals by the end of this year. At general hospitals not partnered with the service, users can claim insurance by photographing supporting documents.
With the launch of this service, hospitals can reduce unnecessary documents such as medical fee receipts, and insurance companies can prevent forgery and alteration of supporting documents. In particular, users of the service benefit from reduced costs for issuing supporting documents.
