KB Securities Launches Asset Allocation EMP Wrap Based on 'Research Center's Own ETF Portfolio'
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] KB Securities announced on the 24th that it will launch the industry's first asset allocation EMP (ETF Managed Portfolio) wrap service called 'KB Research Symphony EMP Wrap (Global Asset Allocation),' which is operated based on the 'Research Center's own ETF portfolio.'
EMP refers to a portfolio constructed using ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds). Asset allocation EMP-based products diversify the risk of individual stocks by composing portfolios with promising ETFs among ETFs, thereby further dispersing risk and achieving global asset allocation effects at a low cost.
The KB Research Symphony EMP Wrap is operated based on KB Securities Research Center's 'KB ETF Portfolio,' which stands out in asset allocation research, allowing investors to fully enjoy the advantages of this portfolio.
The KB ETF Portfolio has the advantages of ▲ investing in global assets while not simply reflecting the characteristics of dollar assets but also considering the volatility of the Korean won, optimizing global ETF portfolio investment from the perspective of Korean investors ▲ completing a global ETF portfolio through an optimization process based on analyzing expected returns according to correlations and risks among assets and countries.
Additionally, it allows investors to enjoy the effects of global asset allocation investment that pursues steady performance while lowering volatility.
The main investment targets of the product are global high-dividend and income-type assets, global stocks, and bond ETFs. Seventy percent of the portfolio is invested in core assets to achieve long-term returns, while the remaining 30% is combined with satellite assets to achieve excess returns. Through this strategy, it secures returns at the level of global stock indices while pursuing additional returns (α) through some dynamic ETF management.
Shin Dong-jun, head of the Research Center, said, "We launched the 'KB Research Symphony EMP Wrap,' which encompasses the asset allocation capabilities of KB Securities Research Center, to enable more customers to enjoy the effects of global asset allocation," adding, "We will continue to make our best efforts to provide high-quality research services."
The KB Research Symphony EMP Wrap can be invested in from a minimum of 10 million KRW. The contract period is one year, but early termination is possible. Fees include an upfront fee of 1.0% (at initial or additional deposit) and a deferred annual fee of 1.0% (quarterly), with local taxes and other overseas stock-related expenses charged separately.
