Thailand Ministry of Education "Students Visiting 6 Countries Including Korea to Self-Quarantine for 2 Weeks"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] The Thai Ministry of Education has requested teachers, parents, and students who have traveled to six Asian countries, including Korea, to self-quarantine for 14 days in preparation for the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
According to the local online media outlet The Nation on the 24th, Minister of Education Nataphon Thipsuwan announced that teachers and students who have traveled to Korea, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore must self-quarantine for two weeks.
Minister Nataphon added that this measure follows the guidelines of the Ministry of Public Health to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Minister Nataphon emphasized that parents of students who have visited these six countries must also undergo self-quarantine for the same period.
