Han Myungjin, the Democratic Party preliminary candidate for the National Assembly representing Goheung, Boseong, Jangheung, and Gangjin, stated in a press release on the 21st, “Due to the visit of the COVID-19 confirmed patient to the Goheung area, unfortunately, some facilities were closed and disinfection was carried out.”
The preliminary candidate added, “No additional cases have occurred yet, and the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, Jeollanam-do, and Goheung County are communicating in real-time and responding accordingly,” and urged, “Residents are asked not to be alarmed and to continue their daily lives while adhering to the COVID-19 national behavioral guidelines: always wear a mask in enclosed spaces, wash hands frequently, and if you have a fever or respiratory symptoms, immediately report to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (1339), or the local health centers (Goheung 061-830-5561, Boseong 061-853-4000, Jangheung 061-862-4000, Gangjin 061-430-3574), or the 120 call center.”
