Boseong-gun Launches Hope Sharing Campaign to Defeat COVID-19
Donation of Green Tea Tea Bags, Beverages, and Green Tea Soap to Senior Centers
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Yongcheol] The Beoseong-gun Residents' Cultural Movement Steering Committee (Chairman Jeong Hyeongcheol) announced that on the 21st, they held a visiting sharing relay event by eup and myeon to prevent COVID-19.
This sharing relay followed the donation of two welfare facilities in Beoseong-gun on the 14th and delivered green tea tea bags, beverages, green tea soap, and other items to 26 senior centers in eup and myeon.
The Residents' Cultural Movement committee members not only contributed to spreading safety awareness by guiding residents on COVID-19 prevention measures but also communicated closely with local elders, promoting neighborly care simultaneously, thus giving a warm impression to the local community.
Chairman Jeong Hyeongcheol said, “Active residents are the driving force of a hopeful Beoseong,” and added, “I hope everyone empathizes with the purpose of the Residents' Cultural Movement to raise residents' safety awareness and kindness through this event.”
Lee Geona, CEO of Beoseong Green Tea Distribution Co., Ltd., which donated 50 boxes of Beoseong green tea beverages, said, “I hope the green tea beverages will help local residents who use senior center facilities to live healthy lives.”
