Two More Russian Passengers on Japanese Cruise Test Positive for COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Two additional Russian passengers aboard the cruise ship 'Diamond Princess,' docked at Yokohama Port in Japan, have tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
According to Russian media, the Russian Embassy in Japan announced on the 20th (local time) via its Facebook account that "As a result of medical examinations and tests conducted by Japanese medical staff, the novel coronavirus was additionally detected in two Russian passengers," and added, "They will be transferred to a hospital soon."
It was explained that the infected individuals are asymptomatic carriers without any significant health deterioration symptoms.
