Seodaemun-gu, Local Business Visit Survey
Utilization for Policy Establishment Including Basic Status, Number of Workers, and Annual Sales from March 2 to 27
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) will conduct the "2019 Business Establishment Survey" from March 2 to 27 targeting all businesses with one or more workers engaged in industrial activities in the area.
The survey will be conducted by 35 investigators visiting each business to fill out the questionnaire, along with surveys conducted via mail and the internet.
The number of target businesses is 21,355, and the survey will cover 11 items including basic business status, number of employees, annual sales, and franchise-related information.
The district will actively utilize existing administrative data to ensure efficient progress and reduce the burden on businesses.
The survey results will be used for policy formulation and evaluation by national and local governments, as well as academic research by companies, with provisional results scheduled to be announced after the end of October.
A district official stated, "The data collected in this business establishment survey will be strictly protected under the Statistics Act and cannot be used for purposes other than statistical compilation," and added, "We ask for the active cooperation of the surveyed businesses to ensure accurate statistics."
