A Drunk Driver in Their 20s Caught Napping While Waiting at a Traffic Signal in Busan

According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, at around 11:34 PM on the 19th, a 112 report was received about a vehicle that was not moving even though the signal had changed, located in the middle of a 4-lane road near Munhyeon Intersection in Nam-gu, Busan.
Police who responded to the scene found the driver, Mr. A, in his 20s, asleep while waiting at the signal after drinking and driving inside the passenger car.
A police official stated, “To prevent safety accidents, we blocked the front and rear with a patrol car and apprehended the driver.”

The breathalyzer test showed that Mr. A’s blood alcohol concentration was at the license cancellation level (0.08% or higher), and he was booked without detention on charges of drunk driving.
