Yeonggwang-gun Supports 'Jeonse Loan Interest for Newlywed Couples and Multi-Child Families' Housing
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) announced on the 20th that it will promote an interest support project for rental deposit loans for newlyweds and multi-child families to foster a marriage and childbirth encouragement atmosphere.
The support targets are newlywed couples without a home and multi-child families residing in the county who have received rental deposit loans from financial institutions and whose household members (spouses and children) all reside at the rental housing address.
Additionally, newlywed couples must be married for 7 years or less, and both spouses must be under 49 years old, while multi-child families must have three or more minor children.
However, households with a combined annual income exceeding 100 million KRW, those whose household members move out of the jurisdiction after being selected as support recipients, or those who purchase a house are excluded from eligibility.
The county plans to select and support a total of 30 households this year.
The support amount is paid twice a year, ranging from a fixed monthly amount of 50,000 KRW to a maximum of 150,000 KRW depending on the loan amount at the time of application, and the support period is up to 3 years.
The application period is year-round until the project quota is exhausted, and applicants can visit the local town or township office with required documents such as a lease (rental) contract stamped with a confirmed date to apply.
A county official said, "Along with the housing purchase loan interest support implemented last year, from this year, we are expanding support to include rental deposit loan interest support. We aim to reduce the housing cost burden for newlyweds and multi-child families, promote living stability, create an environment favorable for marriage and childbirth, and encourage settlement."
