Organized Crime Member Booked for Pulling Ex-Girlfriend's Hair
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] A 20-year-old gang member who grabbed and dragged his ex-girlfriend by her hair has been arrested by the police.
The Gwangju Bukbu Police Station announced on the 20th that they have apprehended A (23), a local gang member, on charges of injury for grabbing and dragging his ex-girlfriend by her hair, causing her harm.
A is accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend B (22) on a street in Buk-gu, Gwangju, at around 11:20 PM on the 7th, inflicting injuries that require two weeks of treatment.
It was investigated that A committed the crime against B, whom he happened to meet at a drinking party on the day of the incident.
A is known to have repeatedly threatened B, suspecting that she was seeing another man.
