According to Realmeter's announcement on the 20th, based on a survey commissioned by tbs conducted from the 17th to the 19th, the United Future Party's approval rating was 32.7%. This figure is 3.2 percentage points lower than the combined approval ratings of the Liberty Korea Party (32%) and the New Conservative Party (3.9%) in the previous survey.
However, in conservative stronghold regions such as Daegu-Gyeongbuk (54.0%), Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam (41.2%), and Daejeon-Sejong-Chungcheong (36.3%), the approval ratings were higher than the overall average.
Notably, by age group, the 60 and older group showed high support at 40.6%, while the 20s age group (31.7%) attracted attention by showing higher approval than the 30s (28.2%) and 40s (25.1%).
The 'People's Party,' which was included in the survey from this week, started at 2.3%. Considering the People's Party's proportional representation vote share of 26.74% in the 20th general election, this is a modest figure.
The Democratic Party of Korea recorded 41.1%, up 1.2 percentage points from the previous week, regaining the 40% range. The significant increase in the 30s (42.2% → 50.1%) and 40s (51.2% → 56.2%) age groups led the overall rise in approval ratings.
Additionally, the Justice Party recorded 4.2%, followed by the Bareunmirae Party at 3.2%, the Party for Democracy and Peace at 2.1%, the Our Republican Party at 1.5%, the Minjung Party at 1.2%, and the Alternative New Party at 1.0%.
Meanwhile, President Moon Jae-in's approval rating for his administration rose 1.4 percentage points from the previous week to 48.0%. Negative evaluations fell by 1.4 percentage points to 48.3%. The gap between positive and negative evaluations was 0.3 percentage points within the margin of error, marking three consecutive weeks of mixed trends since the fifth week of January.
Positive evaluations notably increased among the undecided and housewife groups, while negative evaluations rose among the moderate and self-employed groups.
