GS Home Shopping Recruits 2nd Generation of Senior Volunteer Group 'Active Love'
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] GS Home Shopping announced on the 20th that it will recruit the 2nd generation of the senior volunteer group ‘Active Love’ until the 6th of next month.
Active Love, which started its activities for the first time last year, is a senior volunteer group operated by GS Home Shopping in collaboration with Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI). It is an educational volunteer program aimed at helping children’s emotional growth through intergenerational communication.
The 2nd generation of Active Love will volunteer for seven months from April to October this year at local children’s centers located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon. The volunteer group will meet children by creating curricula that utilize not only existing educational content but also their own unique experiences and know-how. Recruitment is open until the 6th of next month for seniors aged 45 and older, and applications can be submitted through the ‘KFHI Gidae Plus’ website. A total of 30 people will be recruited.
