Mirae Hanguk Party Appoints Gong Byeong-ho as Nomination Committee Chairman
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] The Future Korea Party, a satellite party for proportional representation under the United Future Party, has appointed Gong Byung-ho, head of the Gong Byung-ho Management Research Institute, as the chairman of the nomination management committee for the April 15 general election.
On the 20th, the Future Korea Party announced, "We have appointed Director Gong as the chairman of the nomination management committee for proportional representation members of the National Assembly."
The Future Korea Party introduced Director Gong as an economic expert who served as the first president of the Free Enterprise Institute and an author of over 100 publications. The Future Korea Party held an executive meeting on the morning of the same day to approve the appointment of Chairman Gong. Afterwards, they planned to hold a press conference at the National Assembly at 2 p.m. to make an official announcement.
