Guro-gu Implements Advance Reservation System for Real Estate Agency Office Registration Opening
Receive consultation by phone, submit required documents by fax, then visit the district office to collect the registration certificate... Applications available on the district office website from April
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Guro-gu (Mayor Lee Seong) is implementing a pre-reservation system for real estate brokerage office registration.
Guro-gu announced on the 20th that it has established and started implementing the "Pre-Reservation System for Real Estate Brokerage Office Registration" from this month, simplifying the procedure so that civil petitioners can complete the registration of a real estate brokerage office with just one visit to the district office.
Previously, when a civil petitioner visited the district office to submit an application for registration, the office would verify the possibility of opening by conducting on-site inspections, document reviews, and checks for disqualifications and criminal records, then issue the registration certificate.
Because of this, petitioners had the inconvenience of having to visit the district office two or more times.
There was also a risk of unregistered brokerage activities occurring at brokerage offices that had not completed the registration process, due to business gaps and other reasons.
To address these issues, Guro-gu simplified the registration procedure for real estate brokerage offices. Through the pre-reservation service, the number of district office visits required for registration has been reduced to one.
Those wishing to register a real estate brokerage office can consult by phone with the Real Estate Information Division of the district office (860-2806) and submit the necessary documents by fax (860-2627). After three days from the submission date, they can visit the district office to apply for registration and immediately receive the registration certificate.
Guro-gu plans to accept pre-reservations through the district office website starting in April.
A Guro-gu official stated, "We expect that the system improvement will reduce business losses for real estate brokerage offices and enhance the safety of real estate contracts," adding, "We will continue to strive to improve civil petition processing procedures for the convenience of residents."
