Detailed Guide on Lifelong Learning Programs, Basic Information of Learning Institutions, and Participation Methods
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jeong Won-oh) has published the '2020 Lifelong Learning Guide' booklet introducing lifelong learning programs and lifelong learning institutions.
The guidebook begins with lifelong learning slogans for each generation and provides detailed information on Seongdong-gu's representative lifelong learning programs, including the Seongdong Celebrity Special Lectures, citizen informatization education, and the Life Safety Learning Center, organized by department.
It also includes basic information such as locations, phone numbers, and website addresses of various centers like the Dokseodang Humanities Academy Center, the 4th Industrial Revolution Experience Center, libraries, and welfare centers, along with participation methods. A lifelong learning map is included as an appendix.
Over the past year, the Seongdong-gu Lifelong Learning Center 'Dokseodang Humanities Academy Center' operated 113 regular and special lecture programs and 97 neighborhood learning center courses, and held 11 Seongdong Celebrity Special Lectures, offering lifelong learning courses tailored to the needs of residents, receiving great responses from the community.
