Gwangyang City Operates 'Good Cafe Certification System' to Reduce Disposable Cups
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Gwangyang City in Jeonnam announced on the 19th that it is operating the eco-friendly model business 'Good Cafe Certification System' together with Jeonnam Province, targeting about 250 coffee shops in the region that use disposable cups.
The 'Good Cafe Certification System' is a program certified by Jeonnam Province that reviews whether customers who use reusable or personal tumblers receive price discounts or additional mileage accumulation and whether this is promoted, in order to reduce the use of disposable cups.
In Gwangyang City, two businesses have received Good Cafe certification and are designated and operating, and the city's Environment Division is accepting applications at any time.
