Gangnam-gu Signs Business Agreement with 7 Shared Electric Scooter Companies
On the 18th, Agreement to Cooperate on 'Establishing Parking Order and Alleviating Pedestrian Traffic Inconvenience System' and 'PM System Improvement'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) signed a business agreement on the 18th with seven shared electric scooter companies in the area to create a safe traffic environment.
This business agreement aims to ▲establish a cooperative system to ensure electric scooter parking order and alleviate pedestrian traffic inconvenience ▲hold quarterly working-level meetings and biannual traffic safety campaigns ▲revise the shared personal mobility (PM) system.
The district will collaborate with seven companies, including △Dart Sharing (Dart) △Lime Korea (Lime) △Mass Asia (Gogosing) △Beam Mobility Korea (Beam) △Ollulo (Kickgoing) △Wind Mobility Korea (Wind) △PUMP (Singsing), which operate about 5,000 electric scooters, to create a convenient and safe shared PM usage environment.
Additionally, the district plans to share civil complaint processing results with companies through the ‘The Gangnam’ app to improve work efficiency and establish various services for the convenience of electric scooter users.
