Gwangju and Jeonnam Special Post Offices Deliver 10 Million Won Scholarship Fund
Over 600 Employees Raise Donations Annually
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Jeonnam Regional Post Office Special Post Office Jeonnam Provincial Association (Chairman Yoon Cheolseong) announced on the 18th that it delivered a scholarship fund of 10 million won by mail to KBC Gwangju Broadcasting Station and the individual recipients.
The 'Special Post Office Scholarship Fund Delivery Ceremony' is conducted with donations steadily collected every year by about 600 employees of 121 special post offices in the Gwangju and Jeonnam areas.
This year marks the 15th ceremony, and the scholarships are given to 20 youths who are exemplary in their school life despite difficult family circumstances.
