Yongin City Provides 400,000 KRW Monthly Support Per Person for Hiring Career-Interrupted Women
[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in the area that hire women with career interruptions and receive employment incentive subsidies until the 20th of next month.
The target is small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in the area that have hired women with career interruptions since 2019. Up to 3 people per company are recognized, and 400,000 KRW per person per month is supported for up to 6 months.
Since 2011, Yongin City has been supporting women who stopped economic activities due to marriage, pregnancy, childbirth, and other reasons to resume their careers.
The city gives additional points if companies affected by the COVID-19 pandemic or companies selected as excellent companies by the city last year apply.
Small and medium-sized enterprises managed by direct ascendants or companies that have received similar support from government or public institutions are excluded.
Applications can be submitted by downloading the application form from the announcement board on the city’s website and sending it by mail or visiting the Corporate Support Division.
