Hoban Construction announced on the 17th that it was chosen as the contractor at the general meeting of the Jangwi 15-1 District Street Housing Maintenance Project Association held on the 15th in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
This project involves constructing three apartment buildings with a total of 206 units, ranging from two basement floors to 15 above-ground floors, in the area of 258-2 Jangwi-dong, Seongbuk-gu. A representative of the association stated, "After going through building review in August, we aim to start construction in March 2022."
The street housing maintenance project differs from traditional redevelopment and reconstruction by significantly omitting various procedures such as basic planning, promotion committee, association establishment approval, and management disposition approval, proceeding with the consent of 80% of landowners, which allows for faster progress.
