LG Electronics Recruits Customer Advisory Group for 'New' Home Appliances Following Dryers and Stylers
LG Electronics announced on the 17th that it will recruit the second group of the 'LG New Home Appliance Customer Advisory Panel,' where customers participate from the planning stage of home appliances to the post-launch improvement stage, from the 19th of this month until the 4th of next month.

Since last year, LG Electronics has been operating a customer advisory group to actively explore new home appliances such as dryers, stylers, and cordless vacuum cleaners. The advisory group participates from the planning stage of home appliances to the post-launch improvement stage.
To make participation in the advisory group activities easy, customers aged 19 or older who live in Seoul and the metropolitan area and are interested in purchasing and using home appliances can download the application form from the event board on the LG Electronics website and apply by the 4th of next month. The results of the advisory group selection will be announced at the end of next month.
LG Electronics plans to select customer advisory group members from various generations including Millennials, Generation X, and Baby Boomers. Due to the high response and satisfaction from the first advisory group, the number of recruits will be increased to more than 40, considering age, gender, and single-person households. Additionally, the operation period will be extended from 8 months to 10 months.
Starting from April this year, the customer advisory group will hold regular monthly meetings and occasional meetings to plan LG Electronics' new lifestyle home appliances. In meetings attended by LG Electronics product planners, the advisory group can freely propose and refine new product ideas, evaluate the concept and design of new products, and also provide advice on new product marketing.
Furthermore, the customer advisory group plans to evaluate the design of not only new products but also existing products, share their experiences after using the products, and identify areas for improvement.
The first customer advisory group, which started activities in August last year, will conclude at the end of next month. LG Electronics actively adopted ideas proposed by the first advisory group, such as expanding the product line applying the AI Cook function of the Dios Microwave Oven and enhancing user convenience.
Additionally, the customer advisory group suggested improvements and marketing ideas after using the portable air purifier 'PuriCare Mini' in various environments and situations such as cars, travel destinations, and study rooms.
LG Electronics has actively incorporated customer voices in the process of applying newly developed technologies to existing products or launching unprecedented home appliances, thereby creating new customer value.
