Honam University Prepares 3-Stage Stabilization Measures for 'COVID-19'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Honam University has established an emergency transportation stabilization plan for international students entering the country as part of COVID-19 prevention measures.
According to Honam University on the 14th, a '3-step stabilization plan' was recently prepared to ensure the safety of international students and to fundamentally block domestic outbreaks by maximizing the use of available dormitory facilities.
Applications for entry were received from international students, and as the first step, 150 international students will be housed in the stabilization dormitory, Myeonhakgwan, on the 18th and 19th.
Accordingly, three charter buses will be dispatched to Incheon Airport on the 18th and 19th to safely transport the students, providing convenience and ensuring thorough quarantine measures.
Myeonhakgwan, located at the western end of the campus, has 75 rooms accommodating 4 people each, with a total capacity of 300. However, to ensure the health, emotional stability, and convenience of the international students, the internal facilities are being remodeled to accommodate 2 people per room.
