[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] Choi Ki-young, Minister of Science and ICT, visited the Pangyo Startup Campus and stated, "We will establish practical support measures for the ICT industry affected by the COVID-19 crisis."
On the 14th, Minister Choi Ki-young said at the ICT startup meeting held at the Pangyo K-ICT Device Lab, "Despite the temporary shock to the global value chain, we will seek related policies to ensure that our ICT industry can continue to grow robustly."
Minister Choi added, "With the ICT industry's dependence on imports and exports to China reaching 30-40%, startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with relatively short business histories and small scales are likely experiencing significant difficulties. We will specify support measures for the ICT industry and also begin research on the global value chain of the ICT sector."
