Integration of CCTV Control Center with Public Safety CCTV Videos such as 112 and 119... Providing Services Including Emergency Video Support for 112 Center, Emergency Dispatch Support for 112 and 119, Disaster Emergency Response, Support for Vulnerable Groups, and Wanted Vehicle Search Assistance
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Dobong-gu (Mayor Dong-jin Lee) was finally selected on the 12th for the '2020 Smart City Integrated Platform Infrastructure Project Contest,' a public contest by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
The 'Smart City Integrated Platform Infrastructure Project' is a project that links the 'CCTV Integrated Control Center' managed by local governments with public safety sectors such as '112, 119' into a 'Smart City Integrated Platform.'
The district has been striving to build a smart city by realizing scientific administration through big data analysis and introducing ICT-based new technologies to solve various urban problems in the district using smart technology, including △ organizing a Smart City TF team in 2018 △ establishing a Data Fusion Team in 2019 △ being selected for a Ministry of Science and Technology smart city-related contest in 2019.
With the selection in this contest project, the police station and fire station will be able to receive real-time CCTV information such as disaster status, crime scenes, and traffic conditions through the district office's CCTV integrated control center, securing golden time in emergencies and enabling rapid response.
Once the smart city integrated platform is completed, the district plans to directly link the video information from 1,039 CCTVs installed throughout Dobong-gu to 112 and 119, providing services such as △ emergency video support for the 112 center △ emergency dispatch support for 112 and 119 △ emergency response support for disaster situations △ support for socially vulnerable groups such as children and dementia patients △ support for wanted vehicle searches.
In addition, it is expected to significantly contribute as a catalyst for building a public data center with a unique MICE concept in Korea, as well as for existing S services such as Dobong-gu’s women’s safe return home service and emergency safety services for single-person households.
