Drunk Driving Vehicle Crashes Into Mart... 'License Revocation' Level
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] A man in his 70s who drove a car while intoxicated and crashed into a mart was arrested by the police.
On the 13th, the Gijang Police Station in Busan announced that at around 12:47 PM that day, a Sonata vehicle driven by Mr. A (70) crashed into a mart in Gijang-gun, Busan.
As a result of the accident, mart employee Mr. B was injured in the leg and other areas and was taken to the hospital. Additionally, product display shelves and other items were severely damaged.
According to the police investigation, Mr. A was found to have purchased items at the mart and then, while reversing the vehicle, collided with another parked car before crashing into the mart.
The police measured Mr. A's blood alcohol concentration and found it to be 0.101%, which is at the level for license cancellation.
